Progress, Progress!

Hello all you wonderful encouragers! I had to up my dosage of the hCG for the mornings this week, because I have been dealing with hunger this week. My evening dose has remained the same. When you're on the hCG diet, you shouldn't have bouts of hunger like traditional diets. Increasing the dose of hCG (by the professional, not by me) does wonders for the hunger issue. 


I have had thoughts of stopping, because there are foods that I do miss, and it would be easier to just eat whatever I feel like eating, but then I look at my results and remember how much better I feel, and I realize that quitting is not an option right now.


I bought a new shirt this weekend, and I am so happy to announce that it was THREE SIZES SMALLER than what I started out with at the beginning of this endeavor. I am down to a 5X, which is tremendous, as I had been wearing an 8X before. This is such an encouraging thing to me, and I hope it encourages you as well. If I can do it, so can you. 


Now onto this week's weigh-in...


Weight: 383.4 (down 6.2 pounds from last week)
BMI: 68.0 (down 1.1 from last week)

It is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but with the support and love of many people, and of course from God, it seems much less difficult. I know I can do this.

Week 2, second round!

Okay folks, I have successfully completed 12 days of my second round of 40 day, Very Low Calorie Diet, along with the hCG. Only 28 more days to go! :)


I can honestly say that this time around, the 500 calorie days are much easier to do, and I crave the foods I love (and can't have right now!) less and less, which is good. The stronghold food had on me for my entire life is now gone. Yes, I still do crave sometimes, and I still am tempted to cheat, but I don't. To be honest, I might have a few extra melba toast rounds, which I'm only allowed 4 per day, but I have not strayed from the foods that are allowed. 


At my last weigh-in, I was very pleased with my results.


My weight: 389.6 Yeah!!!
My BMI: 69.1 Yeah!!!


It feels good to be below 390. And it feels great to see my BMI below 70.


I honestly felt that I would never get below 400 again, and I am so thankful for this diet and the support I am receiving daily. Keep those comments coming, and share with your friends if you think I may inspire someone else.

Awesome Update!

So, I know I posted just two days ago, but I went in for my weight check-in, and the results are so great that I needed to share with you all!
When I began this round of the Very Low Calorie Diet on Tuesday, my weight was 400.6. Today, I found out just how wonderfully responsive my body is becoming to weight loss. I am now at 392.4!
This is a loss of 8.2 pounds. Now I know this may seem extreme, but really, it is not. Considering my size, and that my body has just begun purging the excess weight, it knows what it’s doing now. I don’t expect to lose 8 pounds every three days, but this is exciting for me, and I wanted to share with you all.
My BMI was 71.0 on Tuesday, and today it has dropped to 69.6! I am under 70 now in Body Mass Index!

Back at it... A New 40 Days.

So, I have decided to do the hCG 40-day system again. This is started by two days of "loading," which helps your body get through the first week of such a low-calorie diet. It was no surprise that I gained a bit, but that is expected. It will come off more quickly than it went on, really.

My weight this week: 400.6
My BMI: 71.0

This may look like a disappointment, but it is not. I am okay with this, and know that I will be under 400 again within the next day or so. Hang in there, everyone, this show ain't over yet! Not until the thin lady sings...

Maintenance, Week 1

This week I had thought I would for sure have gained more weight, but to my beautiful surprise, I lost 5.2 pounds!!

I am happy to announce to the world that I have broken through the barrier and am now under 400!

My weight as of February 1, 2011, is 398.7.
My BMI is 70.7.

How happy am I! Thank you for all of your encouragement, and I hope you will continue with me as I work towards the 300 mark.
